Client: Let Our Violence End

Robert Holt hosts a 16 session series called U.N.I.T.Y., a companion video course to the Emmy winning documentary produced by the Arkansas Education Television Network. After watching the documentary, the series will guide conversation to help teen mentorship programs slow the tide of violence and incarceration for today’s youth.



A long time partnership...

Since before the founding of SkyGate Studios in 2007, director Scott Edge has helped the Arkansas-based nonprofit organization L.O.V.E. (Let Our Violence End). The organization provides clothes, food and shelter for the homeless and tirelessly helps teens and families thrive with mentor programs.

For U.N.I.T.Y. series, (U and I helping Teen Youth) SkyGate Studios facilitated the production, edited and mastered the series, designed and animated the DVD interfaces and authored the DVD’s.

The Emmy winning documentary series follows a class of inmates demonstrating the unique relationship between the brothers of “U.N.I.T.Y.”, and how such a prgram can help to slow the tide of Violence and incarceration for tody’s youth.
